Bark: Gray/brown with a fine blocky pattern, resembling older Flowering Dogwood bark. Twigs are reddish brown with a thin light gray coating and rusty hairs.
Sun: Full sun to partial shade is suitable for the Rusty Blackhaw Viburnum. Flowering is reduced in heavy shade.
